Repository reconciliation — 8 September 2026¶
Each GAMB2LE repository keeps its own canonical main. Useful branch, local and deployed source changes have been reconciled through reviewable pull requests; old source and rollback references are retained with explicit dispositions.
The audit covers all 29 organisation repositories. The authorised implementation covers 27: chillybat and holoimg remain excluded, as does the separate personal greenland-gateway-spine-impact proposal. The CloudnetPy fork relationship and the metadata-only purpose of aurora-data-products are preserved.
Source and recovery¶
The original inventory contained 45 checkouts, 249 local or cached references, three stashes and ten loose source files. Recovery contains 22 verified Git bundles and 135 original dirty source files with hashes and modes. All original source has a recorded disposition: integrated, equivalent, superseded, retained historical evidence, or excluded.
The two intentionally dirty historical checkouts retain their 22 original file hashes. The maintained primary checkouts are managed separately from those archives. No branch, stash or rollback reference was deleted to make the inventory appear clean.
Canonical repository register¶
The commit links below identify the immutable source snapshot at 21:18 UTC, before this documentation commit. The portal row therefore identifies its preceding main. Source validation and runtime acceptance are recorded separately. Repositories without hosted checks retain their documented scope and available local validation.

Deployment acceptance¶
A source merge, an installed revision, a running process and a completed data product are distinct observations. The following register preserves those distinctions.

IFS normalization completed and selected GFS messages were downloaded; the job was building GFS forcing at the 21:29 checkpoint. Scientific completion and publication remain pending. The daily case changed only its generated timestamp and two pointers to byte-identical template/site files. Production has no active daily job and its retired retry timer remains disabled. |

Commissioned operating boundaries¶
- V12 remains development-only. CL61 remains advisory/observe-only; no new actuation was enabled.
- ASS retention remains active, APS retention remains disabled, and the legacy SOC timer remains disabled.
- ASS tier state remains
5 5; APS remains4 4. The detached radar-controller worktree remains ata5268e6. - On APS, the existing logger process was deliberately left running. The new on-disk source is available for the next separately controlled process start; this reconciliation does not claim that the old process has loaded new code.
- Instrument, controller, power outlet, calibration and scientific-history boundaries were retained.

Validation and rollback¶
The source checks include both production Python 3.10 and development Python 3.12 for the dashboard, a writer-to-reader-to-Zarr midnight canary using the actual APS interpreter, infrastructure contract tests and Ansible syntax checks, mobile simulator tests, scientific baseline comparisons and the repository-specific hosted checks.
Before deployment, restricted source/configuration archives and Git recovery references were verified. Cloud releases used exact expected and target revisions with clean-checkout and health guards. Environment, service, timer and dependency state was compared independently of Git; the scoped source, one revision-metadata field and reader restarts were applied. The first display cycle narrowly preceded the new UAS scenarios; the next natural display refresh exposed them. A subsequent targeted derived-display refresh also completed using the existing generator and lock, without rerunning forecasts or altering schedules. Original runtime and source baselines remain available for rollback.
The detailed audit records immutable SHAs, branch and stash identities, per-file hashes, source/configuration manifests, test logs, deployment observations and explicit limitations. It is retained in the reconciliation evidence bundle rather than publishing protected configuration or recovery archives here.
Known limits and follow-up¶
- Historical LES and Cloudnet scientific environments remain deliberately pinned; their separately staged main sources require independent scientific execution acceptance.
- The natural model-evaluation job remains a separate scientific execution. Its pre-promotion run was killed by systemd for memory pressure at 19:10:40 UTC; commissioned memory limits were preserved. The new run was still active at the documented checkpoint.
- A cached forecast reanchor remains distinct from an independent weather-forecast cycle. Generations launched before the revision-metadata correction retain their original labels; later development and production products report the released SHA.
- Development external portal-logo requests encounter the existing CSP restriction. Operations also retains its previously observed attention state.
- Pre-existing environment/data-dependent scientific test failures were reproduced against their old baselines and are not counted as passing tests.
The older deployment baseline register remains available as historical rollback context. Its August revisions are not claims about current production.
